CGC Signature Series...pshh

I'm sitting here at the mall Christmas shopping waiting for my girlfriend. I'm looking through the pictures I have of my graded comics and it made me want to talk about something that really grinds my gears.

Hallmark Keepsake Ornaments

Hi again everybody!

I've slacked off on this blog almost all year but I really want to start getting the ball rolling.  I've finally made the move of actually selling items and it has been working out great.  My last entry has some links  in it for the items I've been trying to sell.  It's also taught me a few things...

HALLMARK KEEPSAKE ORNAMENTS ARE MONEY!

Skullkickers

Skullkickers is an Image comic created by Jim Zub and Edwin Huang.
The first issue was released in September of 2010.
Zub is known for his earlier work with Udon Comics and Pathfinder with Dynamite Comics.  Also for his tutorials on breaking into the comic business and the fact that he's an incredibly nice and positive guy.

Locke & Key

Now some of you may know about Locke & Key, some of you may not.  Locke & Key is, no bullshit, the most amazing comic I've ever read.  It's written by Joe Hill who happens to be Steven King's son.  The artwork is amazing, its a phenomenal comic book.  Above is my copy of the 1st Printing of issue #1.  Bought it for $40 off eBay.
You can still pick up a copy for around that price.  Word is not completely out yet on this gem.  I heard about it from the boys at www.comicbookclublive.com  (Check them out, great podcast every week, even had Joe Hill on the show once which you can listen to HERE).
STAY AWAY from the Dynamic Forces Variant.  Not worth as much.  I'm not positive about how many copies were made, maybe 2,000.  Wikipedia says that it went to a 2nd printing but I've never seen one.

Amazing Spider-Man #700

This book is going to be worth a lot all over this place but of course there is like 7 different covers.

Here is a video from the guys at Zapp Comics in Wayne NJ talking about the different variants and which one to get your hands on...

Welcome Aboard

Howdy Friends! Welcome to Collect the UNcollected.  My own little blog about the hottest treasures that exist in the world of comic book collectibles and maybe a few of my own thoughts here and there too.

What I hope to achieve here is to give you a little insight on just what collectibles out there you should be getting your hands on that should inflate in price and inflate your wallets as well if you are into making some cash off your collection.
