The Outer Space Men

Hi again, everyone.  Back here with another quick update.
So Gary from The Outer Space men reaches out to me on Twitter (@TheUNcollected) and asks me to take a look at some of the new Outer Space Men figures they are trying to sell.

I'm not going to lie and say I was 100% familiar with these figures but I did a little research and WOW are these things hot!

The Outer Space Men have been around since 1968 and have a very retro feel to their figures.  Not only that, but there is also a very limited amount of them available.  These things go for AT LEAST double what they originally sell for and that's for the series only from 2010!  Now Series 2 is out and I say get your hands on them AS SOON AS YOU CAN!!

Check out the description after the jump.

The incredible toy inventor has done it again. 45 years after Mel Birnkrant invented the iconic and wildly sought after 1968 Outer Space Men; Mr. Birnkrant has created his Cosmic Creator Series 2 set of action figures. These 4 figures based on his 1968 creations encompass 3 original first series Outer Space Men figures; Commander Comet from Venus as well as the lovable Alpha 7 from Mars and Electron + the Man from Pluto. Mystron The Man From Hollow Earth from the never produced second series of OSM completes the 4 figure collection.

These mint carded incredible creations are part of the new OSM developed in the Glyos System and compatible with any other Glyos figure. You can tear them apart and reassemble them using any other part from a Glyos figure and create your own creature.

There were only 200 hand signed and numbered sets of 4 that came to the United States and the series 2 Birnkrant Edition is all but gone.

The official OSM site is the only place that the figures are available. You can see the whole back story of the OSM plus pick up one of the last few sets at; You can read the history of the OSM as well as see the incredible images of the hundreds of items associated with this sensational line of action figures. Plus you can pick up the OSM Graphic Novel which was heralded as some of the best Science Fiction reading in the past 25 years by renowned on-line critics.

The set sells for $80 on their site and believe me, they look to be a real good investment.
